“V\u00c4XT” is my solo exhibition atJ\u00c4GER & JANSSON Galleri in Lund, Sweden. V\u00c4XT (which is Swedish for life force, as in “plant” or “growth”) is a large, themed exhibition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artworks that make up V\u00c4XT are all made of etched and patinated copper, brass and bronze. Copper mushrooms sprout in some of the works, delicate flowers spread, and lichen and barnacles emerge from folds of the metal. The gallery writes the following about the exhibition:\u201cDen internationellt erk\u00e4nde metallkonstn\u00e4ren Marie Louise Kold \u00e5terv\u00e4nder till J\u00c4GER & JANSSON Galleri i Lund med en efterl\u00e4ngtad separatutst\u00e4llning. V\u00e5ra ljusa lokaler fylls med V\u00c4XT: ett eget universum av trolska \u00e4rgningar, genombrutna patinerade pl\u00e5tar, djupt etsade texter och magiska kopparb\u00f6cker. Naturen har alltid varit en stark inspirationsk\u00e4lla f\u00f6r Marie Louise Kold och i denna utst\u00e4llning genomsyrar den alla konstverk. Metallernas patineringar vibrerar med f\u00e4rg, ljus och liv. I, under och kring dem spirar och v\u00e4xer \u00f6mt\u00e5liga blommor och egensinniga svampar lekfullt, envist, varsamt. Marie Louise s\u00e4ger att naturens inspiration aldrig f\u00f6rr varit s\u00e5 intensiv, och ber\u00f6rt henne s\u00e5 djupt, som i arbetet med utst\u00e4llningen V\u00c4XT. Vi hoppas att du tittar in och ocks\u00e5 utforskar, f\u00f6rundras, f\u00f6rtrollas och ber\u00f6rs.\u201dThe exhibition can be seen until November 7, 2021.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
