I created the 2017 PL\u00c5TPRIS, the Metal Prize, which was awarded to architect Bj\u00f6rn F\u00f6rstberg\u00a0at F\u00f6rstberg Ling<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0at the PL\u00c5T<\/a> conference in Stockholm on March 16. Bj\u00f6rn F\u00f6rstberg\u00a0received the prize for his\u00a0design of \u00a0“House for Mother” in Link\u00f6ping, an aluminum clad villa. My warmest congratulations to the winner!<\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/span>This prize was created using etched and patinated copper, brass, bronze, aluminum, zink and steel, and it was mounted on a base of black, waxed mdf. <\/div><\/span>The PL\u00c5T seminar is a major annual event devoted to metal sheeting and architecture. The purpose of the seminar is to highlight sheet metal facades and metal\u2019s architectural potential, showcasing unconventional ways of utilizing it.
