The 155 meter long hall has a breathtaking atmosphere and just inside the entrance I built a 7 meter tall tower of books meant to be recycled. The book installation, which also had a bit of metal in it in the shape of a patinated copper cube with deeply etched text, was entitled &#8220;Valanga ta&#8217; Kliem&#8221; in Maltese \u2013\u00a0\u201cAvalanche of Words\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlkold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/MLKOLDBookFair2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2266 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mlkold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/MLKOLDBookFair2.jpg\" alt=\"MLKOLD,BookFair2\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mlkold.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/MLKOLDBookFair2.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.mlkold.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/MLKOLDBookFair2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mlkold.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/MLKOLDBookFair2-440x330.jpg 440w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">From\u00a0the entrance only the stacked books could be seen, while facing the hall, open pages cascaded from the top downwards on the other side. The Times&#8217; photographer\u00a0<span class=\"s2\">Matthew Mirabelli<\/span>\u00a0brilliantly captured the moment.
