My commissions in etched and patinated copper, bronze and brass range widely: permanent installations in collaboration with architects or home owners, portraits for corporations and private homes (in one case a royal palace), art for national art collections, and bespoke pieces for museums. Some examples can be seen here. Below are also two videos of large, recent projects.
Over the past 25 years I have also created a number of prizes tailored to particular events and recipients, including world-famous architects, musicians, chefs and entrepreneurs. These prizes have a page of their own.

How does a commissioning process work?
You don’t need to have all the answers ready at the outset, very often part of the commissioning process means we figure them out together. Some of my clients have a particular location in mind, where the dimensions of the space will dictate the size of the artwork, and the surroundings will be relevant to the patinas of the metals and other aesthetic decisions. If the budget is among the predetermined elements, we explore the best options within it. In some cases a client has a very clear idea about the motif (such as a portrait, for instance) but are flexible as to size and where it is placed, in which case I can do mock-ups and we will make decisions together from there. We work with the elements you know, and iron out the unknowns together as we go along.
