Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Prince Daniel visited Malmö March 9-11 2011. Part of their packed schedule was a visit to my studio.

Marie Louise Kold creates unique works of art for art associations (konstföreningar/kunstforeninger). In 2010 she was Artist of the Year in two different art associations, one of the largest in Sweden, and one in Denmark. In 2010 I made two prizes that were presented to two different companies at the beginning of 2011. One prize was commissioned by DI, Danish Industry, and was presented by Danish Prince Joachim. The other prize was commissioned by Holbæk Regional Trade Council in Denmark. There are photos of the artworks and information about the recipients of the prizes here.
In December 2010 I made works of art/door signs of etched and patinated copper and brass for Proffice and HR United in Copenhagen, in connection with their new joint venture. I hope the new signs bring Pete, Gorm and their great teams lots of luck!

I Ljusstämning förenas medelhavets ljus och österns mystik med nordisk konst och hantverk i en unik ljussättning av Sofieros slott och park i Helsingborg. I'm one of the artists who have made a work of art for the Patings for Peace exhibition that will tour Scandinavia in 2010 and 2011. The first stop is Malmö, where the exhibition opens on October 7th, in Humanitetens Hus on Drottningtorget. Click the link above to see further stops for the exhibition and more information.
On March 5th 2010 I gave a talk at the top floor of Turning Torso, at a "Top Level Lunch" arranged by Svenskt Näringsliv. More information here.
Företagsdagen in Lund was on March 25th. I gave a short talk and along with some very interesting and inspiring people I took part in a panel discussion on how to beat the credit crunch and be successful in the Öresund region. More information here.
On January 29th 2010 I was part of a panel discussing culture and entrepreneurship: "Kulturutövaren som vinstdrivande entreprenör - är det möjligt?" The seminar took place in Malmö and everything was in Swedish. Click HERE to read more about it.
My biggest work of art to date, a permanent wall in the reception area at Realdania in central Copenhagen, was finished at the end of November 2009. This page contains photos and information about the project.
The composer and film maker Peter Lång spent a day at my studio with Truls, the cameraman, late in November. They filmed my works for Peter's new "opera film", which will be finished in 2010. A very exciting project to be part of!

The City of Malmö is launching a series of short films about enterprising and inpiring people ("souls on fire") in Malmö, and I am very happy to have been selected as one of them. The film (in Swedish) can unfortunately not be seen at the moment, but I'm working on a solution.
